MARIE HELLWEG

I was born in Germany in 1988 and grew up in Gütersloh, a small but lovely town. My childhood was very happy. I had a caring family and many friends. After my A levels I went to Paris and worked there as an au pair. In 2009, I studied Literature, Culture and Media Studies in Siegen, Germany.

 

During my studies I worked for the local festival KulturPur, with 55,000 guests. I also worked in Cologne as a production assistant at Club Bahnhof Ehrenfeld, whiles I was writing my bachelor's thesis. In 2014, I started to work as an event manager in my hometown Gütersloh, at the socio-cultural institution Die Weberei.

 

In Summer 2016 I moved to the United Kingdom to work as a Project Manager in the translation industry. In 2017 I started working as a Marketing Content Developer for Jet Press, a Supplier of engineered solutions. Jet Press promoted me to their Marketing Manager 8 month after joining the company.

In 2019 I successfully passed my Diploma in Digital Marketing at CIM - The Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Besides working as a Marketing Manager I am managing the artist Gambino Akuboy and also support the independent cinematic production company RebelVZN, as a Marketing and Production Manager.
